I gave up entirely on Starfield until we get official mod support on console. I see no reason to give them any more of my time for their crappy game. I am never going to pay for mods. I am never going to put one penny into microtransactions. It's never going to happen. I skipped Fallout 76 entirely for a lot of reasons, but their business model was a big part of it. I might just skip all future Bethesda games if this is how they're going to run things. Hard pass. Fallout is one of my favorite franchises ever, but I'll give it up entirely if I have to deal with the half-ass garbage that Bethesda has been putting out. I've got better things to do with my time and money.

let me tell you somethng, i live in iran, other than our regime itself banning all things, these companies help the government. i had about 220$ in my psn , and once gov shut internet down my vpn got fked up and then psn got my ip and they blocked my account with money. ever since then ive had no other option but to pirate. literally no other option. its not just psn. epic. stream . ea. ubi . everything i can think of region blocks me.

Bottome line is people still pay for the mods and extras. Todd knows this. To really get our point across is to completely stop supporting and playing said games. I haven't touched starfield or finished the game after the fiasco of the game being mediocre at best.

I dotn think that paid mods as an idea is inherently bad. But it depends heavily on price and quality. I also thing there definitely needs to be a system in place for refunding these mods incase their quality doesn't match price. On top of all that, free mods are a must alongside this.

Something massive like Fallout London, I’m definitely going to pay or donate towards for their efforts. But some cosmetic crap that just upgrades the graphics or new skins? No, that’s a hobby mod by a fan, and they should be happy to provide them for free. I am just voting with my wallet and won’t be buying any of the paid mods that appear to be really bad value for money.
